Joining the Interact Club is a great way to complete your community service
hours.

Interactors raised money and participated in a walk-a-thon to support cancer, said
Maina Cioni.

They also supplied a Peruvian schoolchild with supplies and resources to gain an

education, said Maina Cioni.

Interactors volunteer at cleanups at the beach and Ballona Wetlands to beautify

the community. Once they wrote holiday greeting cards to American servicemen and

women overseas.

Possible future service projects are raising funds to support the Rotary-

sponsored campaign to raise awareness worldwide and are planning to train members

to work with animals at weekly pet adoptions.

Everyone is invited to join the club. It meets Thursdays at lunch in Room 37.

Even athletes who are occupied at lunch can join and attend weekend

events and participate in service projects.
