The Japanese Club is a student-run club that discusses different topics regarding

Japanese culture, so if this is something you’re interested in, you’re welcome!

Ms. Hiroko Nomachi has been this club’s sponsor for over 20 years now.

She created this club all those years ago because she wanted students who didn’t have the

opportunity to take one of her Japanese classes to learn about Japanese culture.

“I like to see the students learn about things that they are interested in and that

way they’ll learn it more in depth,” said Ms. Nomachi

Ms. Nomachi also said that she’d like the students to learn enough about Japanese

culture that they’re able to share information with people who aren’t in the club. So if

you have any interest at all for anything pertaining to Japanese culture, make sure to

head to Ms. Nomachi’s Room 107 on Tuesdays at lunch.
