The Venice High girls soccer team is currently 3 – 6 and unsure if they will continue on to Division 3 playoffs.

“It’s a good season,” according to junior Chloe Gradilla, “ but we are struggling.”

On Wednesday, Feb. 10, the girls played Palisades. They went home with a loss with a score of 9 – 1. Sadly, this was a big rivalry and they lost once again.

Venice lost to Hamilton 4 -1 on Jan. 30. Venice lost to LACES 2 – 1 on Jan. 27. They lost to University 1 – 0 on Jan. 25. On Jan. 18, Venice lost to Palisades 4 – 0. On Jan. 13, Venice beat Fairfax 4 – 0.

“We have good chemistry, but we can’t seem to play a good game” Said Gradilla. “Our biggest struggles are when we play LACES and Palisades.”
