Lady Gaga is set to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival, a huge festival in Indio, California for two weekends. The dates are April 14-16 and April 21-23. The “Mother Monster” will be headlining Coachella on April 15 and April 22.

Beyoncé was supposed to headline this year, but had to cancel after she revealed that she was pregnant with twins. Organizers decided that Gaga should fill in for her. She will be the first woman to headline Coachella since Björk in 2007.

“Yeah I probably will go see her at Coachella because I used to love her and I know she has pretty cool shows and I would say I’m pretty excited to see her perform,” said junior Bella Stoakes about Gaga headlining Coachella. Stoakes is attending the festival. The approximately $400 ticket prevents many students from attending.

Although Gaga hasn’t revealed what songs she will sing, her fans have an idea. She will probably perform her singles from her latest album “Joanne” , including “Perfect Illusion” and “Million Reasons.” Since this is a festival, she will perhaps sing previous hits that are more upbeat or even a fan favorite “John Wayne.”
