Undefeated girls’ volleyball, 13-0, will go on the road to face 14-1 Palisades today as they look to continue their win streak and strong play.

The Gondoliers continue to have a perfect record following their 3-0 win over Westchester last Friday.

“We’re looking forward to this matchup on the schedule against Pali and have been preparing in advance,”said senior Avia Yosef, an opposite hitter.

The Gondoliers are altogether playing very well and continue to defeat their competition, especially because of their team chemistry, Yosef said.

Head coach Raul Aviles feels as though they have performed very well up to this point but there’s always room for improvement in areas like serving.

“Our biggest goal is always to play our best volleyball and to be the best team we can be, come playoff time,” he said.

“It’s been a good start, however we still have plenty of growth in front of us as it’s a long season with lots of volleyball to be played,” he also mentions.
