Chipotle (Westfield Mall)
Q: Why did you want to work there?
A: “I was a vegetarian for a year and Chipotle was the only fast food place I could eat at so when I was looking for a job I looked at my favorite places and so I applied to Chipotle.”
Q: Why did you want a job in the first place and what are you using the money for?
A: “My brother is off to college and my dad is paying for his tuition so that means I don’t get money anymore. And I need to save for college and also because I want my own money. I usually use my money to pay bills and I give my parents gas money.”
Q: Is it hard to work there? What are the best and worst things about working there?
A: “At first it was hard because I didn’t have experience, but after a while and after I got the proper training, it wasn’t as hard as I thought it was. The best thing is that it is like a family. Managers aren’t just there just because. They are there to help you improve. My manager’s goal is to create a team of top performers that are empowered to achieve high standards and to create future leaders. The worst thing is coming in at 7:30 every morning on the weekends and prepping for the rest of the day.”
Q: How did you get the job?
A: “It was a group interview so it was a competition to see who gets the job. Four out of five of us ended up getting the job.”
