The boys golf season has begun for the 2018-2019 season. In addition to returners, this year’s team is made up of both first-time players and incoming experienced players. The team is led by Venice High School alumni, coach Kevin Behrendt.

The golf team practices twice a week, Tuesday from 3 pm to 5 pm and Wednesdays from 3 pm up to possibly 9 pm, either at Westchester or at Penmar Park. The boys are looking to have a great season.

“I’m looking forward to passing down the team to the new kids,” said senior Jared Grace. “I’m really excited to see how they do and if they do well.”

They have completed a total of six games and their next game is April 25 at 3 pm against Wilson.
