Using a large map, The Oarsman interviewed about 15 students to gain an understanding of how much they knew about world geography and history.  

While some students lacked knowledge of a variety of foreign countries, they commonly knew the location of where their ancestors were from. The video highlights a group of students who answered history questions correctly. The majority of those who were asked did not have correct answers, but all of their responses were funny. For instance, one student said that China fought in the US Civil War.
