Eli Davidow is the adviser for The Venice Oarsman, the student media organization of Venice High School. He’s been the adviser since August 2020, taking the mantle from the great Nancy Zubiri.

Originally from Massachusetts, Davidow is the former Editor-in-Chief of his high school newspaper, The Newtonite.

Davidow’s ultimate goal for The Oarsman is to prepare young journalists for an evolving media landscape. Beyond that, his dream is to raise the next generation of cutting edge journalists who report on the issues impacting our community and our world. And of course, Davidow wants alumni to come back to talk about their experience in media and to inspire the generation that follows.
