Hi everyone, my name is Johanna Zamora and I’m currently a senior who recently joined the Oarsman this year (20-21). I’m thrilled to finally be a part of a professional community where my opinion matters despite differences there may be. Being able to receive this opportunity has allowed me to branch out and share my writing & photography with more than a teacher, creativity is my strongest skill which finally gives me the chance to share my ideas with the team. Somehow I’ve always wanted to impact people with my words and draw them towards journalism because everyone’s voice matters and I hope to be a source for them to reach others in and out of the Venice High community!
