Finding people who have similar interests as you might be hard to do. But fortunately, at Venice High’s Club Expo today, there will be many opportunities students can pursue.
This year, there are 74 clubs approved, ranging from KPop Club to Hiking Club.
Club Expos are held a couple times during the school year but the first one of this school year is coming up and some students think the event as a whole could use some work. At the Club Expo, there are tables spread that display different clubs.
Club members draw in student interest by giving out candy in exchange for a follow on their Instagram page. The Fashion Club did this last year which seemed to bring in new people.
Some think they should promote their clubs in a more efficient way, like writing less on the poster paper and using a different tactic such as giving out more free food.
