Chatelaines and Esquires is all about serving the school during and outside of school hours. It is for juniors “who show commitment to the community,” according to the Venice High website.

Member Alex Martin, said the former club sponsor and retired teacher, Sheri Nagata, told them it looks great on college applications and helps improve responsibility. The club meets every Wednesday at nutrition in Room 204.

Current members signed up in the spring of last semester. To qualify, students must be a sophomore and must have good grades, including no D’s, F’s, or U’s.
