Band Club

JaNiece Calhoun

Students hear the band at pep rallies, football games, and just about anywhere where school spirit is is encouraged. The Gondolier Marching Band is a frce to be reckoned with stomping and playing its way through the campus. Band is an activity that meets after school in Room 3.

It is an period 7 class that meets until 5 p.m.. The class allows students to explore their interests with music and to just have fun. If you have experience, there’s advanced band and if you’re just starting with your instrument, there’s a beginning band. Even if you are not interested in music, there is a position called color guard. A color guard marches with the band while creatively twirling a flag. There is a place for everyone in band.

“It’s really great to see the students that are really dedicated and wanting to really work on marching technique.” Band Director David Lee. “I’m looking forward to just really building the program.”
