Venice High, are you ready for homecoming?

The football team will be playing Palisades High School on Friday, Nov. 4. The tickets have been sold during nutrition and lunch for $5 at the student store. Venice hasn’t lost to Palisades in 15 years or more, according to Maxpreps, so this will be the game to watch. With rumors that Palisades has developed a good football team this year, students have made bets on the game.

A yearly tradition is the pre-game homecoming parade that will start between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Riding around the track will be the Homecoming King and Queen, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department, sports teams and clubs will walk the track and music will play in the background. A display of $3000 worth of fireworks have been set up to be launched from the baseball field, according to Principal Orlya Weidoft.Make sure you support your school at the homecoming game tomorrow!!
