For the first time Venice will offer International Grub Hub Day, tomorrow April 6, during lunch where clubs or teams will express their cultural appreciation through food, apparel, music and art. Lunch will be extended to give students an opportunity to visit each club’s or team’s “country.”

Each participating group was asked to pick a country. Cultural clubs had priority for selecting countries.

The event will take place on the front lawn unless it is wet. If it rains, it will relocate to the Senior Lawn. The event is sponsored by the Venice High School Associated student body and 50 percent of the deposited funds will be collected by ASB.

According to leadership it will be great fundraising opportunity. Many clubs are encouraged to sell food items from different cultures.

Any food sold must comply with the Los Angeles Unified School District policies.
