Boys water polo played their first game of the season Aug 31 against Cleveland High School. They had a strong record last year as they were 12-6 overall and 6-2 in the league. Although they lost by a score of 21-6, it was the first game of the season and didn’t count towards the western league. Their next game is Sep 14 at Birmingham High School. Their first league home game is Oct 4 against Palisades High School.

Captain Lukas Olesinski, in his second year as varsity captain, is looking forward to seeing how the team grows and improves as the season goes on. “The most important part of being team captain is being a leader and setting an example,” said Olesinski.
