The boys’ volleyball team has continued a relatively strong season with a 7-2 league record and a 17-13 overall record, with their only league losses suffered at the hands of University and Palisades. However, the team looks to bounce back and win all their remaining games and play competitively against juggernaut Palisades.

Their next and final home game of the season will be against Palisades on Wednesday May 2 at 4 p.m.

It has been a pretty successful season for the team so far and the future looks bright with the sophomores and juniors showing a lot of potential. The team is really coming together, and the chemistry is developing and it shows: team members say that their team isn’t filled with strangers, but is filled with a lot of close friends.

“I feel like the team is improving both as a sports team and as a family,” said Captain Jared Yuge. “As our coach gains more experience and we become more engaged with applying the knowledge he gives us, I feel our team is surging ahead with rigor and intensity.”
