The girls soccer team made it to the first round of CIFLACS Girls Soccer Playoffs- Division II, before unfortunately losing.

Their first and final playoff game was against Marshall High School on Feb. 16, and ended with a score of 1-0.

Team captain Bianca Monroy feels that though they lost, the team performed exceptionally well.

“We played well; our chemistry was perfect,” said Monroy, “I had fun, and that is the main thing to do.”

As team captain, Monroy feels that her first priority is to ensure that all members of the team get along, and that they have fun together. She enjoys soccer very much, and said that participating in soccer has made her more outgoing, and has made it easier for her to talk to people.

In the end, the girls varsity soccer team finished their season with an overall record of 5-9.
