Blumhouse’s new movie, “Truth or Dare,” is about a group of college friends going to Mexico for spring break and a stranger convinces them to play an intense, deadly game of Truth or Dare that can cost them their life.

If a member of the group refuses to do the dare or tells a lie instead of the truth, they become possessed by a devil and experience a brutal death.

The plot of the movie was, honestly, kind of dumb and cliche. What’s cliche was Olivia (Lucy Hale) being in love with Lucas (Tyler Posey), her best friend’s boyfriend. The dumb part was Olivia’s bestfriend, Markie (Violett Beane) was letting her grudge get in the way of her friends surviving. A couple of the death scenes put a queasy feeling in your body.

Some parts of the movie were really intense like when Penelope (Sophia Taylor Ali) was dared to drink all of her booze and walk on the edge of the roof. If she failed to complete the dare, she would’ve had fallen to her death.
It’s not a movie I would recommend to watch. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a score of 15%.
